What information do we collect about you and how do we use it?

In order to provide you with the best possible service, we sometimes need to collect information about you. We only ask for information that we have a reason for and will only use this information for the reason it was intended.

We collect information about you when you register with us, request a home consultation or sign up to our newsletter. In store, we collect your information if you request a quote, or place an order for products or services. If we have estimated the flooring requirement, we might also create a drawing plan to help us process your needs.

In our store or warehouse, we use CCTV purely for security reasons. The recordings are automatically deleted after 30 days, and recordings would only be kept if there was a specific incident or need.

The lawful basis (under the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) for us processing data is “Legitimate Interest” – and all personal information collected is up-to-date to the best of Carpetstyle's ability.
